Fused zirconia mullite is made by fusing certain percentage of high purity aluminum oxide and
zircon sand in electrical arc furnace.
Zirconia mullite character :
Small coefficient of thermal expansion, high strength, good thermal shock resistance and strong resistance to slag.
Well improve the anti-corrosive ability of the refractory products
Enhance refractories wear resistance.
Applications:
Used for making zirconia mullite refractory bricks, Al2O3-ZrO2-C sliding plate and long nozzle service for metallurgical industry.
Widely used in glass kiln and making castable reractories.
